Specification Summary

The FTM1010 is a 1 megapixel (1024 x 1024) digital camera module with a frame transfer CCD image sensor that gives true 12-bit images at 15 frames per second. The CCD sensor features an anti-blooming mechanism that allows the camera to experience a high degree of over exposure without producing any visible blooming artifacts. The FTM1010 camera (and customized versions of it) has been sold for use ina wide variety of applications, including biometrics, medical imaging and machine vision.

The FTM1010 camera module comprises a sensor board containing a frame transfer sensor and a board that contains the circuitry required to drive the sensor. The boards are connected by two flat flex cables. The FTM1010 camera has a dedicated interface board to provide output and contol via an RS422 interface (part number: IB-1010-422)
