The FFM4027 is an 11 megapixel (4008 x 2672) digital camera module with a frame transfer CCD image sensor that gives true 12-bit images at 2 frames per second via a cameralink interface. The CCD sensor features an anti-blooming mechanism that allows the camera to experience a high degree of over exposure without producing any visible blooming artifacts.

The FFM4027 module comprises four boards, three of which remain fixed together while the tethering of the sensor board allows for some freedom of movement in the mounting arrangement. The board level camera module provides maximum flexibility and ease of integration into the OEM's system. A housed version of this camera is also available where a rugged camera enclosure is required.
