Options List
Although there is a list standard part number digital cameras and camera modules shown in the Digital Camera Modules page of this website, Narragansett Imaging's business model has always been to customize camera designs to best interface with an OEM's system.

The customization of camera modules falls into two categories:

  • Modifications to existing products: Changes in control interface, physical dimensions, frame rate etc.
  • Brand new cameras: Beginning with a new CCD or CMOS sensor and building a camera to a customer's exact specifications

A customer's specific camera requirements will determine which of these two approaches are taken. Below is a list of some of the key camera parameters and the range of specifications that the Narragansett Imaging team has experience of.

It must be noted that some specifications may be mutually exclusive with others, e.g. have extremely high resolution is not conducive to allowing very high frame rates. Using the range specifications below you should be able to define a camera that fits your application. When you have determined your ideal specifications then please contact Narragansett Imaging or one of our representatives to discuss your requirements.
