November 18, 2005 Narragansett Imaging has successfully completed recertification of its Quality Management System to the ISO9001:2000 standard and obtained certification of its Health and Safety System to OHSAS 18001. ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized standard designed to enhance quality performance by companies. This certification covers the design, manufacture, and support of Narragansett Imaging’s camera tube and high resolution digital-imaging subsystems. The ISO 9001:2000 standard places particular emphasis on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and top management involvement in the quality process. The OHSAS certification system was created by an association of national standard bodies, certification bodies/registrars, and specialist consultancies. The OHSAS 18001 certificate proves that Narragansett Imaging’s management system has been measured against a best practice standard and found compliant.
